Antenna drop-down   GAS-INJECTED SATELLITE COAXIAL

The coaxial cables in this family are used especially for digital transmission systems, now the best transmission medium for audio and video television signals.

They consist of:
• A central conductor consisting of a single red copper wire or copperweld
• Insulation or dielectric material which isolates the central conductor from the external conductor (shield).
The insulated part consists of polythene expanded by means of what is commonly known as gas-injected technology, which improves the mechanical, electrical and ageing characteristics of traditional chemical expansion.
A tape-shield covering the entire surface, combined with a top shield in red copper or tinned to varying coverage percentages, with a double purpose: earthing of the conveyed signal and shielding for isolating the signal from outside interference.
• A polyester tape designed to prevent plasticizers migrating to the dielectric material.
• An external sheath in PVC or in halogen-free materials, with low emission of
fumes and toxic gasses (LSOH). The sheath is usually coloured according to the
RAL tables, but the colour can be customised.
• The customer's corporate logo can also be applied on request.
Development, final testing and production are guaranteed through the use of the latest generation, highly updated instrumentation, such as vector network analyser, absorbing clamp, impedance-meter, on-line capacity measurement, FFT etc., all enabling on-going monitoring and improvement of the product's quality level.
Our wide production range covers a multiplicity of needs: individual systems, medium and large centralised systems, external tread-duty laying, low losses for professional systems in addition to smaller sized types for special uses.
