STEP DOUBLE INSULATION CABLES |
The flat cables with single or double
insulation are generally used in the computer and TV sector.
The red or tinned copper conductors consist of single or stranded
wire to create cross-sections from 26 to 18 AWG.
The conductors pitch normally offered varies from 2.50 to 5.08
mm.
The insulation with different types of PVC guarantees use at
operating temperatures from 80°C to 105°C.

Colouring,
carried out at the request of the customer, is generally as
follows:
- a base colour with a side and upper polarization line for
single insulation;
- a different colour for the first PVC insulation layer with
transparent second insulation;
- a single colour for the PVC insulation and a single colour
for the second insulation with the polarization line on one
side of the strap for double insulation.
The many years experience gained in manufacturing these types
of cables has led to quality levels that make the product suitable
for use in automated production lines. The products can also
be supplied in conformity to the UL and CSA standards for style
2651.
